Job Title: Application Security Tester Location: DHA, Phase 6, Karachi (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Shift Timing: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM Department: POS Unit Experience Required: 2–3 YearsAbout the RoleIntersys Ltd. is seeking a skilled Application Security Tester to ensure the security and integrity of our applications across the POS ecosystem. You will be responsible for performing penetration testing and security assessments on web, mobile (iOS/Android), APIs, and backend systems. You will work closely with the development and DevOps teams to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and enhance overall security posture.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct penetration testing on web, mobile apps, APIs, and backend servicesPerform security code reviews and vulnerability assessmentsIdentify, document, and report security flaws with detailed remediation guidanceCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure software developmentValidate fixes and retest vulnerabilitiesStay updated with the latest security threats, tools, and practicesRequired Skills & KnowledgeHands-on experience in Web, Mobile & API Security TestingStrong understanding of security standards and frameworks:OWASP Top 10, MASVS, CWE Top 25Proficiency with security tools such as: Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Nmap, MobSF, Frida, etc.Good understanding of backend and database security: PHP, Python, Node.js, MySQL, PostgreSQLStrong reporting and communication skills
