Assistant Design Manager -ELV

Through its various businesses including RMA Automotive, Global Fleet Sales, Comin Asia and Express Food Group (EFG), RMA Group has established itself as the partner of choice for leading automotive, equipment, engineering services, and food brands in Southeast Asia and beyond.Overview and purpose of the role:The Assistant ELV Manager plays a key role in overseeing the design, coordination, and implementation of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems.Key responsibilities: Ensure all material submissions meet project specificationsOversee shop drawings to align with contract and technical requirementsCoordinate with project teams to meet submission schedulesProvide technical support to installation teamsAssist site teams with BOQ take-off and accurate orderingLiaise with suppliers for technical supportSupport Testing & Commissioning (T&C) teamsDeliver accurate As-Built drawingsPrepare handover documentationCollaborate with clients on design feedback, variation orders, and commentsAssist QS teams with ELV system costing for variation ordersCoordinate across Procurement, Installation, Engineering, and Costing teamsEngage with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project executionPerform other relevant tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.Background and experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Electronic and Automation EngineeringProficient in AutoCAD, BIM, and other office software for designStrong leadership, coordination, and communication skillsHands-on experience in ELV systems and construction project workflowsProficient in English (Speaking, Writing)RMA Group is an equal opportunity employer, with a diverse group of colleagues globally representing different cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs.
