Job Summary: The Associate Manager Procurement is responsible for the strategic and operational procurement of Opex and Capex materials, with a focus on QC and technical engineering items from both local and international vendors. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, negotiation expertise, and a deep understanding of material specifications and quality standards. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, compliance with quality benchmarks, and ensure the delivery of material, works and activities as per approved schedule / timeline and budget.Job Responsibilities:Develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring availability of high-quality materials while minimizing risk and cost.Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships, fostering collaboration and innovation across local and international supply networks.Monitor and manage the daily on-going activities of related to procurementSource, evaluate, and procure goods, services, and materials needed for department.Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvementwithout compromising quality or timelines.Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring clarity of terms, compliance with legal requirements, and alignment with objectives.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including user departments, finance, legal, and operations, to facilitate smooth procurement processes and resolve issues proactively.Prepare and secure approvals for procurement documentation, including RFQs, POs, and vendor agreements.Coordinate with clearing agents, freight forwarders, and port authorities to expedite timely clearance of material consignments.Ensure quality compliance of procured materials and services in line with QC standards and specifications.Job Requirements: The candidate must have/be: minimum qualification of B.E or MBA in Supply Chain Management Around 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the field of QC and technical procurement in the Pharma IndustryIn-depth knowledge of local and international procurement.Strong communication, interpersonal, MS Excel, and problem-solving skills.
