Closing date: 16 March 2026PurposeTo conduct periodic food safety audits to determine if the client’s organization is compliant with R638 from the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act 54 of 1972, SANS10049 and Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 standards, for the purpose of evaluating the organization’s food safety management system (FSMS) is in accordance to the standard.ResponsibilitiesObserve the organization’s food preparation, handling, storage and transportation processesInterview food preparation, handling, etc. personnel within the scope of the organization’s FSMS Review the organization’s food safety related records and documents (e.g. receiving records, HACCP plan)Issue a formal audit report to the organization and certification body as well as issue ISO 22000 certificate Arrange travel means, lodging, etc. when traveling to a client siteIssue accurate and complete invoicing for the client in a timely mannerConduct timely follow-ups with client quality assurance of reports Submit all reports on time as per project protocol Ensure all equipment used during audits are clean and in a good working condition Obey all lawful instruction provided by managers Must wear correct personal protective equipment (PPE)
