The team’s mission statement is to expand our understanding of e-commerce customer trends by leveraging data and insights to support key client relationships, drive ad revenue, and enhance the overall effectiveness of Instacart's advertising solutions.About The RoleThis Insight Manager’s overall objective is to leverage data to produce actionable insight around clients’ performance on Instacart to:Help them drive category and brand conversionHelp them build a profile of the ecomm consumer for their brandsHelp Instacart’s sales team drive more advertising investmentBecome a ‘trusted advisor’ on how to win in ecommerce!About The JobYou will support multiple clients within a category group and work with our multiple sales and account management teams to:Identify the key business drivers for our brand partners and make actionable recommendations to grow the business Integrate consumer and customer insight to better inform targeted strategiesAble to work both independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams & an ability to present directly to brand teams of various levelsIntegrate data from a variety of sources to identify key trends and emerging solutions for the partner and customerApply the full suite of tools and metrics available against business issues including but not limited to: Sales, share, distribution, assortment, etcBasket analytics such as cross shop, penetration, affinities, etcCustomer analytics such as trial/repeat, conversion, buy rate, etcGo beyond the data and craft compelling storylines to engage our partnersAbout YouMinimum Qualifications3+ years analytical experience, preference if also within consumer packaged goods or ecommerce industryStrong experience with Excel and/or Google Suite, Tableau and/or Mode dashboardsBasic knowledge of SQL required, with willingness to learn Ability to draw conclusions from large amounts of data and summarize findings in concise manner to problem solveDetail oriented with ability to produce accurate work quickly & efficientlyIndependent worker with self-starter mentality; takes initiativeGood project management skillsAbility to comprehend and sell concepts within the context of Brand PartnershipsStrong presentation skills are requiredAbility to learn and apply different software applicationsMinimum Bachelor's degreePreferred QualificationsPreference to candidates in New York City, Chicago, or Toronto areasInstacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here. Currently, we are only hiring in the following provinces: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.Offers may vary based on many factors, such as candidate experience and skills required for the role. Additionally, this role is eligible for a new hire equity grant as well as annual refresh grants. Please read more about our benefits offerings here.For Canadian based candidates, the base pay ranges for a successful candidate are listed below.CAN$104,000—$115,000 CAD
