Diamond Tours, Inc. a National Group Tour and Travel Operator, is HIRING! We design and execute Group Travel packages for Senior Citizens, Church Groups and Travel Agents. Since 1987, millions of Group Travelers have experienced a Diamond Tour.We are seeking an Controller to join our growing team!CPA or CMA is required.We offer a robust compensation package, which includes an excellent salary ($95K), paid time off (vacation, sick leave, and personal days), health insurance, and a health savings account. We promote a company culture of collaboration-excellent job performance is appreciated and recognized!Duties/Responsibilities of the Controller:Assist with essential accounting functions including preparation and review of monthly financial statements, fixed assets and General and Administrative expenses.Assist with payroll; oversee cash receipts; accounts payable and 1099’sOversee maintenance and quality of company accounting filesAnalyze financial reports and recordsEnsure compliance with US GAAP and internal controlsRequirements for the Controller:Supervisory experience required, able to manage a team effectivelyGood multitasking skillsStrong sense of professionalism and integrityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProven track record of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while effectively prioritizing competing demandsExceptional attention-to-detail and follow-up skillsAbility to analyze problems and determine an effective solution with quick turnaroundLeadership/interpersonal skills are a must. Should have above-average interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships within our organization.Quality-focused and able to provide accurate work while meeting required deadlinesMust have excellent critical-thinking skillsGreat time management skills are a must!Excel and QuickBooks proficienceProficiency in Spreadsheets and Databases5 Consecutive Years of progressive work experience in Accounting or FinanceBachelor's in Accounting or FinanceCPA or CMA requiredAll work is done in our Fort Myers, Florida office. Office hours are 9AM-6PM, Monday through Friday; additional hours may be required in the evenings and on weekends to meet deadlines. This is not a remote position.
