Business Development Consultant Employment Type: Full-TimeSalary & Benefits:LKR 850,000 per month + Vehicle Allowance + Fuel AllowanceSpecial Note:Only candidates with experience in Brand Valuation, Strategy Consulting, or Market Research, and currently at a Managerial Level, will be considered.Job Overview:A reputed brand valuation and strategic consulting firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to drive business growth and client engagement. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and promoting the firm’s consulting, valuation, and research services across diverse industries.Key Responsibilities:Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within corporate, financial, and government sectors.Formulate and execute business development strategies to expand the firm’s client base across key industries such as telecommunications, banking, FMCG, hospitality, retail, and insurance.Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, senior decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.Collaborate with internal strategy and valuation teams to design tailored client solutions.Prepare business proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate the firm’s value proposition.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new trends and growth opportunities.Represent the firm at business events, brand rankings, and networking forums.Achieve assigned business targets and contribute to the company’s strategic growth objectives.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Strategy Consulting, or Market Research, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong understanding of brand valuation, strategic marketing, and corporate growth strategies.Proven success in client acquisition, revenue generation, and managing senior-level relationships.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.High level of professionalism, commercial awareness, and strategic thinking ability.Key Attributes:Results-driven, confident, and proactive professional.Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills.Strong analytical and strategic mindset.Ability to work independently and meet performance goals.
