Business Development Manager – Study AbroadJob Location - Boralesgamuwa, Sri LankaJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to lead partnership growth and student recruitment initiatives within the study-abroad and international education sector. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a strong background in the study-abroad industry space.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic business development plans to expand international education partnerships.Identify, approach, and onboard foreign universities, pathway providers, and education agents.Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing global partners to support long-term collaboration.Manage student recruitment pipelines by coordinating with internal teams and partner institutions.Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, competitive trends, and country-specific demand.Represent the organization at education fairs, partner events, university meetings, and online recruitment activities.Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the study-abroad or education consultancy sector.Demonstrated experience working with foreign universities, education agents, or student placement networks.Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently and meet revenue and partnership targets.Excellent presentation and proposal-development abilities.
