Job Purpose:The Senior Business Development Manager will lead the institute’s efforts to attract students directlyfrom schools across Sri Lanka. This role focuses on building strong relationships with schoolcommunities, organizing outreach initiatives, and creating pipelines for A/L and O/L studentsinto computer science/information technology related degree programs.School Outreach & Relationship Building• Establish strong, long-term relationships with school principals, career guidancecounselors, and teachers island-wide.• Conduct regular school visits, seminars, and career guidance workshops to introduceuniversity programs and career pathways in tech.• Organize campus visits and open days specifically for school students and teachers.Student Recruitment Strategy• Design and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract A/L and O/L studentsinterested in IT, software engineering, AI, and related fields.• Work closely with the admissions and marketing teams to convert school leads intoenrolled students.• Collaborate with tuition masters and private education networks for referrals andpromotions.• Educate tuition masters, school principals, career guidance counselors, and teachers onLNBTI programs and educational model so that they can guide the students withconfidence. Events, Competitions & Engagement• Plan and execute tech-focused competitions (e.g., coding challenges, robotics contests,innovation expos) to engage school students early.• Launch ambassador programs or scholarships for high-performing school leavers topromote university brand within school networks.Regional & Rural Engagement• Identify and reach underserved or high-potential regions across Sri Lanka.• Develop localized campaigns and outreach events to attract students from differentprovinces.Data Tracking & Reporting• Maintain an up-to-date database of schools and contacts.• Track outreach performance metrics (visits, lead generation, conversion rates) andReport to Head of Business Development.• Continuously assess recruitment strategies and optimize based on data and feedback.• Active contribution in identifying new strategic partnership opportunities.• Leverage external networks in building networks.Work Environment:• Full-time, Managerial role based in Main Campus of LNBTI.• Frequent travel to schools and education events required.• Drive through performance-focused evaluation
