If you're ready to make a real impact, and be part of a global movement shaping the future of learning, join us—let's transform education together!About The RoleThe Business Development Manager, Technology Partnerships will drive growth across Moodle's technology partner ecosystem, including Certified Integrations (CIPs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and Moodle Marketplace providers. You will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting new partners, evaluating program fit, managing assessment, certification, and activation, and ensuring a smooth handover to account management. This role is critical to maximizing partner value, accelerating Marketplace adoption, and supporting Moodle's strategic growth objectives.What You'll DoIdentify and recruit new technology partners aligned with Moodle's strategyAchieve partner and revenue targets across CIPs, VARs, and Marketplace programsRepresent Moodle at conferences and networking events to uncover opportunitiesTarget high-potential partners and marketsManage partners from first contact through onboarding and program activationEvaluate partner fit based on strategy, market presence, and customer alignmentCollaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth assessment, certification, and activationLead contract negotiations and ensure partners understand compliance requirementsHandover partners to account management for ongoing support and successMonitor market trends, competitive landscape, and procurement channels to inform targeting and strategyRequirementsWe'd love to meet you if:You have a proven track record in sales, deal closing, and partner acquisition, ideally in EdTech or technology ecosystemsYou are skilled at building and maintaining strong partner relationships and managing pipelinesYou have excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsYou are self-motivated, results-oriented, and organized, able to execute complex initiatives across multiple stakeholdersYou are analytical, capable of interpreting market data and optimizing strategiesDesirable but not essential: Working knowledge of the Moodle ecosystem, technical understanding of LMS/integrations, experience drafting contractsBenefitsWhat's in it for you?Moodle has a globally diverse team with over 280 team members in more than 25 countries around the world.
