As a member of our Business Development Center, you’ll be the first voice of the dealership, playing a key role in connecting with potential customers and setting the tone for a smooth and professional experience.Position Summary:The BDC Caller is responsible for managing inbound and outbound phone calls, internet leads, and follow-up communications. This individual will schedule appointments for the sales team and ensure a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction. If you are organized, motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities: Make outbound calls to potential customers to follow up on internet inquiries, lease returns, unsold showroom traffic, and service customers. Respond promptly and professionally to inbound phone calls, emails, and text messages. Set appointments for the sales department and confirm scheduled appointments. Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM system. Follow up with no-show appointments, missed connections, and aging leads. Maintain lead follow-up schedule and ensure timely outreach according to BDC processes. Provide customers with accurate vehicle information, pricing, and availability. Collaborate with sales managers to relay customer information and ensure a smooth handoff. Stay informed about inventory updates, promotions, and incentives.Qualifications: Prior BDC or call center experience preferred (automotive dealership experience a plus). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls daily. Strong computer skills and experience with CRM systems (DealerSocket). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sales focus. Bilingual Spanish preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
