About the jobWe are seeking an experienced Modern Trade professional to lead channel growth, visibility, and strategic account management. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in driving sales performance and market share through effective channel strategies.ResponsibilitiesDrive volume and market share in the Modern Trade channel as per business plans.Develop and implement channel activation plans in line with S&OP and Cycle plans; provide execution guidelines to Territory Managers.Ensure brand visibility and positioning in Modern Trade outlets as per company standards.Expand and maintain the outlet base within the channel by monitoring performance, negotiating partnerships, and managing existing agreements and tie-ups.Optimize channel activation costs through effective budgeting, monitoring, and adherence to the overall marketing budget.Build and maintain strong relationships with outlet-level decision makers (DMUs) and key stakeholders within Modern Trade.Cascade Modern Trade activation plans to outlet-level execution to ensure seamless implementation.RequirementsMBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Marketing.8–12 years of experience in Sales & Channel Management, preferably in Modern Trade / Key Accounts / Organized Retail within FMCG, Consumer Durables, or Retail sectors.Proven track record of driving sales volume, market share, and profitability through effective channel and account management.Strong people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
