Chief Information Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead a global digital and data transformation initiative within a leading oil & gas manufacturing organization. This strategic position requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in manufacturing technology, data engineering, and enterprise IT ecosystems.The CIO will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable, integrated IT solutions that unify siloed systems, enhance operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across global operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the development and integration of proprietary IoT and MES technology stacks.Design and execute data strategies to support operational excellence and advanced analytics.Integrate ERP (e.g., SAP, Odoo) and MES systems into a unified data architecture leveraging Microsoft Fabric.Lead digital transformation initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.Oversee IT governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.Build and mentor a high-performing IT and data engineering team.Ideal CandidateIndustry Experience: Proven track record in oil & gas or manufacturing environments.Technical Expertise: Strong background in data engineering and data modeling.Hands-on experience with MES systems and IoT technologies (e.g., SCADA).Familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP, Odoo) and Microsoft Fabric.Leadership: Strategic thinker with experience translating manufacturing processes into data-driven IT ecosystems.Transformation Experience: Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation in manufacturing companies.Soft Skills: Collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
