In the SKILLS FACTORY, artisans and makers from around the world share their expertise, exchange ideas, and craft essential goods – blending creativity, skills, collaboration, and purpose.Role OverviewAs Co-Project Manager (Craftsmanship), you will share overall responsibility for the SKILLS FACTORY with your counterpart in Social Work & Administration. Your focus will be on the manual and creative side – leading departments, guiding production, mentoring participants, and coordinating a team of volunteers.Together, you will drive an initiative that unites social impact and craftsmanship, empowering people through making, learning, and community.Key ResponsibilitiesCo-lead the strategic planning and daily operations of the SKILLS FACTORY on Samos.Oversee all craftsmanship departments (Barber, WASH, Kitchen, Tailor, Media, Maintenance).Guide production processes, certification schemes, and quality standards.Supervise and mentor a team of 3 coordinators and several volunteers.Ensure the proper use and maintenance of buildings, tools, and equipment.Manage inventories, materials, and workshop safety.Foster an empowering, inclusive, and creative work environment.Implement project frameworks, policies, and safeguarding standards.Support emergency response and operational readiness when required.Report regularly to the Director and collaborate closely with your Co-Project Manager (Social Work & Administration).RequirementsTrained craftsperson or maker with a background in a hands-on trade.Ideally an all-rounder who enjoys working with tools, fixing, building, and creating.Proven team leadership experience with the ability to motivate, delegate, and take responsibility.Experience or strong interest in the humanitarian or social sector.Long-term commitment: willing to engage for at least one year or longer.Organised, practical, and creative – able to turn ideas into action and keep operations running smoothly.Fluent in English (Greek, French, or Arabic are an advantage).Calm, friendly, and good-humoured, even under pressure.Emotionally resilient and able to maintain healthy boundaries in a challenging context.Guided by a person-centred and participatory approach, open to learning from others.Committed to selfm.aid’s values, philosophy, and vision.What We OfferWork and learn alongside a diverse, highly skilled team of crafts(wo)men from around the world.Gain hands-on experience within a dynamic and growing humanitarian NGO.Be part of a respectful, empowering, and person-centred culture, where every voice matters.Receive comprehensive onboarding and continuous support during your time on Samos.Monthly salary: €1,050 (net, plus taxes and insurance).Two weeks of paid leave after every three months of service.Regular self-care and debriefing sessions to support your well-being.Valuable learning and leadership experience within a grassroots humanitarian project.Build a strong professional network and references in the humanitarian and social fields.The opportunity to make a lasting impact while developing personally and professionally.How to applyApply now: info@selfm-aid.chJob detailsCountryGreeceCity Vathy, Samos Sourceselfm.aidTypeJobCareer categoryProgram/Project ManagementYears of experience3-4 yearsThemeShelter and Non-Food ItemsShare Share this on Facebook Share this on X Post this on LinkedIn
