Commercial Agreement Manager

About the RoleApplus client is seeking an experienced Commercial Agreements Manager to join their growing team in Port Moresby. In this key role, you will manage and negotiate commercial agreements for their Joint Ventures, including the major LNG Project, and support new business opportunities in exploration and renewables.You will work closely with international partners, government stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure projects deliver maximum value while meeting the highest standards of integrity, safety, and environmental responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the JV Managers in both developing & implementing the commercial agreements in areas of shareholders agreements (JVA, SHA), supply agreements (PSCA, CSCA), Integration Agreements (FAA, CTIA, DOCA, LTBAs, LTBAs) and power purchase agreements (PPAs).Assist the JV in socializing the commercial agreements with the stakeholders.Lead and manage commercial agreements for joint ventures of the company.Support the Joint Venture team in preparing for Final Investment Decision (FID) for the Papua LNG project.Provide commercial and negotiation guidance to the team and coordinate with key stakeholders.Support business development with strategic insights and analysis for exploration, development, and renewable projects.Contribute to the preparation of strategic and decision-making dossiers.RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related field.10–15+ years’ experience in international joint ventures, commercial negotiations, or agreements within the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders.Excellent communication, teamwork, and influencing skills.High integrity and commitment to confidentiality and HSE principles.Why Apply for this role?You’ll be part of a global energy leader committed to delivering sustainable and low-carbon solutions.
