A certification that underlines our commitment to providing a workplace that stands out.So what’s the challenge...The Engineer’s role is to set the priorities for the construction execution focusing on the best utilization of the available resources, the effective response to potential bottlenecks and delays and the timely and efficient delivery of the project.Your day to day will include:Reviewing the technical documents / certifications / licenses that are necessary for the execution of the construction servicesReviewing the technical designs, proceeding to budget estimation, and providing support and guidance to the vendors and technicians for the accurate execution of the constructionsSetting the priorities for the construction execution focusing on the best utilization of the available resources, the effective response to potential risks and the timely and efficient delivery of the projectCoordinating implementation of design standards between the teams of internal – external engineers and agentsFollowing-up and monitoring the execution progress of the project in terms of deliverables, budget, and time plan, while preparing relevant reportsAssessing the quality of the deliverables from the vendors and validating their compliance with technical specifications, loan prerequisites and designsMonitoring and approving the actual store budgets for OPAP constructed storesHandling the resolution of technical issues providing necessary support and guidanceSupporting other teams in on site front line roll out implementation on an ad hoc basisReviewing the invoices submitted from the vendors and validating their compliance as per the work deliveredGenerating reports and providing information and insight regarding the project progressLiaising with government authorities, assisting with technical administration materialWhat you need to succeed:BSc in Civil Engineering, Architect, Mechanical and Electrical EngineeringMSc degree is desirable4+ years of related hands-on experience in the management of construction projectsExcellent knowledge of a design software (AUTOCAD)Excellent presentation and communication skills in both Greek and English (oral and written)Ability to supervise from small scale to large scale construction projectsAdvanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)Very good knowledge of architectural subject and related legal frameworkStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to travel and work across GreeceFamiliarity with Salesforce platform will be considered a plusExcellent organizational and project management skillsGoal orientation with ability to deliver high quality results within strict deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGenuine team player mentality able to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholdersWhat’s in it for you?An award-winning working environment 🚀State of the art facilities including gym & restaurant 🏢Hybrid working model 💻Competitive salary package and bonus scheme 💸Health insurance coverage & Pension Plan 🙏Monthly food allowance 🍴Continuous learning with classroom/digital trainings by OpapAcademy 🎓Internal Career Opportunities 💼Well-Being Activities 💪OPAP Group is an equal opportunity employerDoes this sound like you?
