Theart Mey Attorneys is committed to treating clients fairly, honestly, and with respect.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Alberton. The Conveyancing Secretary (Cancellations) will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support within the conveyancing department. Key tasks include preparing and processing cancellation documents, liaising with clients, financial institutions, and attorneys, managing lodgements, deadlines and schedules, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and excellent communication skills.QualificationsStrong clerical and organizational skills, including document preparation and file maintenanceProficiency in communication and customer service with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholdersExperience in E4, LexisNexis, Absa, Standard Bank, FNB, Stordoc Knowledge of conveyancing processes, legal terminology, and compliance requirements Proficiency in office software and conveyancing software programsAbility to manage deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment and busy practice
