You will ensure all rotable components are serialized, tracked, repaired, and returned to service in line with Barrick’s reliability, quality, and safety standards. The role requires strong coordination with vendors, supply chain, planning, and reliability teams to optimize turnaround times and maintain component availability.Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:Manage the end-to-end rotable repair and return process for the HME fleet.Develop and oversee a 12-month rotable repair and replacement plan aligned with component replacement strategies.Ensure long-term planned maintenance parts requirements are scheduled, tracked, and optimized.Coordinate with the QA/QC Coordinator to ensure all repaired and refurbished components are inspected and meet Barrick and OEM standards.Oversee serialization of all components, ensuring traceability through engraving, tagging, and SAP updates.Manage rotable yard standards, ensuring proper storage, tagging, and segregation of components.Track repair progress in SAP and ensure updates align with the Planned Component Replacement (PCR) schedule.Liaise with vendors on strip-and-assess reports, escalating delays or quality issues to the Superintendent.Review warranty risks, BER assessments, and recurring component failures with the Reliability and QA/QC teams.Prepare monthly engineering reports summarizing ratable movements, vendor turnaround performance, and cost trends.Support Reliability Engineers with data for FMEA, RCA, and component life-cycle reviews.Analyze repair and failure trends and provide technical recommendations to improve component reliability and performance.Participate in cross-functional meetings to align ratable performance with fleet reliability objectives.Ensure compliance with Barrick’s Zero Harm culture and all safety, health, and environmental standards.Promote continuous improvement, mentorship, and accountability within the Retables team.To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:Minimum of full Grade 12 School Certificate Minimum 5 years’ experience in ratable or HME maintenance coordination.A Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent engineering discipline.Knowledge of SAP or other CMMS systems Strong coordination, analytical and communication skillsProficient in RCA and FMEA methodologiesDemonstrated commitments to safety, reliability and continuous improvement Valid Zambian driver’s license.Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).Lean planning and supply chain knowledge will be an added advantage.What We Can Offer YouA comprehensive compensation package including bonuses and site-specific benefits.The ability to make a difference and lasting impact.Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.Opportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues.Access to a variety of career opportunities across the organisationBarrick has a strong commitment to environmental, health and safety management.Barrick offers employment opportunities to both qualified women and men.Women who meet the above qualification are strongly encouraged to apply.
