Data Transformation Analyst (Data Steward)

Ümumi məlumatData Transformation Analyst is responsible for implementing and sustaining the Enterprise Data Governance framework across the lines of business. This individual will ensure Birbank is defining, managing, and governing enterprise data to help achieve business strategic goals. The Data Transformation Analyst will lead the business lines in developing strong data quality monitoring and governance practices to comply with regulatory and compliance matters while ensuring effective and efficient servicing of our clients.ÖhdəliklərManage, review, and continually improve data governance procedures to ensure alignment with organizational standards and evolving business needs.Promote best practices in data governance and contribute to the enhancement of governance frameworks.Act as a data governance representative by enforcing data quality, integrity, availability, completeness, consistency, privacy, and compliance with established data rules.Collaborate with data quality engineers to ensure business validation rules are implemented in the data governance tool.Engage with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements for data migration projects.Work closely with Data Engineers to support data migration, answering business-related questions and providing clarity on data specifications.Work closely with Data Analytics to support data analysis for various business needs.Populate and maintain the data glossary, documenting and describing data elements within the data governance tool.Work with business teams to capture business validation rules for data, ensuring these are documented and available for reference.Communicate critical data issues and resolutions to data owners and stakeholders.Act as a subject matter expert for any projects or processes impacting data quality and governance.Assist with data-related troubleshooting, providing root cause analysis and support for data quality issues.Ensure compliance with service level agreements, documentation standards, and organizational policies.TələblərMinimum 3 years of experience in data management, data quality, or data governance, ideally within a financial or regulated industry.Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and data management best practices.Proven ability to collaborate across business and technical teams, with the skill to manage relationships and communicate effectively with data owners.Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical data needs.Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools, experience with SQL.Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.Strong documentation skills, including experience with technical writing and data glossary management.Proficiency in Azerbaijan and English is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively document, explain, and enforce data governance standards across diverse teams.We want to ensure that all applicants have a fair and equal chance, so we’re using a TestGorilla assessment (https://www.testgorilla.com).
