Role Description The Deputy Manager Internal Audit role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelaniya. The role involves overseeing and executing financial audits, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Deputy Manager Internal Audit will perform risk assessments, develop audit plans, analyze financial data, and deliver reports to stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve processes and recommend enhancements to accounting and control systems is a key aspect of this role. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to assess data and identify areas of financial or operational riskExpertise in accounting principles, internal controls, and financial auditing processesProficiency in finance-related tasks and reportingExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldRelevant certifications such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA are advantageousGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teamsExperience in an internal audit role within a corporate or public accounting setting is beneficial
