DevOps Engineer

Position Impact:DevOps Engineer manage cloud infrastructure, automate CI/CD pipelines, and enhance security for IT solutions. You will ensure high availability, scalability, and security by leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevSecOps practices. The role involves optimizing deployments, mentoring teams, and driving process improvements to ensure seamless software delivery.Key Responsibilities1. Infrastructure & Cloud ManagementArchitect and manage AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure to ensure high availability and cost optimization.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Design and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerized workloads with Docker.Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).2. CI/CD & AutomationDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.Automate build, test, and deployment processes for faster software delivery.Implement GitOps practices to ensure consistency and traceability.Integrate automated testing, security scans, and compliance checks into pipelines.3. Security & ComplianceImplement DevSecOps best practices, ensuring security at every stage of the development lifecycle.Manage IAM, role-based access controls (RBAC), and secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).Perform vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and enforce security policies.Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.4. Collaboration & Process OptimizationWork closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best practices.Implement observability strategies, ensuring system uptime and performance.Establish incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of DevOps experience with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Go).Experience with observability tools (New Relic, Splunk, Prometheus).Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and CDN.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in IT industry.Knowledge of microservices, serverless architectures, and API gateways.Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate.
