Are you studying tourism, travel management, or customer service and looking for hands-on experience in a dynamic, international environment?Join the DiscoverEU team at MCI Benelux as a Travel & Registration Assistant and help coordinate a flagship European programme that supports young people in exploring Europe primarily by train. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge to real-world travel logistics, customer support, and event operations.✈️ What will you be doing?Travel Coordination & Participant Support Respond to participant enquiries by email and chat, following internal response standards.Assist with booking-related processes, verifying travel documents, and tracking expenses.Support special travel cases (e.g. lost tickets, rebooking, accessibility needs).Escalate complex cases to team members and support follow-up.Keep records updated and support smooth communication flows with participants.Administrative & Tool Support Learn to use professional tools for registration, helpdesk and participant databases.Upload and maintain participant information in line with GDPR and internal procedures.Assist in day-to-day administrative coordination tasks.Promote sustainable practices in line with our Eco-Management (EMAS) commitments.🎓 Who are we looking for?You are currently enrolled in a tourism, travel agent, hospitality, or customer service programme, and can provide a convention de stage / internship agreement from your school.You are legally eligible to do an internship in Belgium (e.g. via Erasmus+ or Belgian-based education).You are confident in English (written and spoken), and fluent in at least one other EU language (e.g. French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Polish, or Turkish).You enjoy helping others and bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.You are detail-oriented, organised, and ready to learn.📌 Practical detailsLocation: Brussels, Belgium (hybrid working possible)Duration: Minimum 3 months, preferably 4–6 monthsTime commitment: Full-time, 5 days a weekCompensation: In Belgium, internships linked to formal education programmes are often unpaid, depending on the school’s regulations.
