Shape Cessnock's economic future.We are looking for a passionate and forward thinking Economic Development Lead to deliver practical, high value outcomes for our community and local businesses. In this key leadership role, you will lead the delivery of Council’s economic development projects and initiatives, with a strong focus on investment attraction, strategic project management, industry diversification and fostering the visitor economy. You will also guide and mentor the Economic Development Officer.You will work across strategy, partnerships and advocacy, turning insights into action through smart, data-driven planning. From implementing the Cessnock Jobs Strategy to advancing the Hunter Valley Destination Management Plan, your work will directly shape how our region grows and thrives.You will build strong relationships with government, industry and investors, championing the region’s strengths and positioning Cessnock for emerging opportunities.
