What You’ll DoAs a Strategy & Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for driving and supporting the development & execution of key parts of WaterNSW’s corporate strategy and transformation agenda. You will support the Head of Business Strategy & Transformation in leading a team of analysts and business stakeholders, ensuring delivery of high-impact, data-driven insights & recommendations to achieve strategic outcomes. As well, you will support and partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment, prioritise initiatives, and enable rapid, evidence-based decisions that accelerate organisational performance and transformation outcomes, whilst putting safety first.Your Key Responsibilities IncludeLead and support the development & implementation of key strategic initiatives with the support of a team of analysts & business stakeholders.Analyse & translate large complex internal and external data-sets into actionable insights that support the development of the transformation agenda & corporate strategy.Support and drive the successful implementation of key initiatives by identifying & mitigating risks, assessing resource and cost requirements, and monitoring progress through benefit validation (including the preparation of business cases where necessary).Support the development and endorsement of corporate KPIs, ensuring the alignment of portfolio planning outcomes to the corporate KPIs. What We Are Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering (post graduate preferred).Demonstrated experience leading strategy, transformation, or operational business improvement initiatives, preferably within a large managed consulting and/or utilities organisation (e.g. water, energy).Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights & knowledge of project and program management methodologies. Structured problem-solving and a well-honed consultative approach, with the ability to navigate and solve complex business problems.Proven ability to influence at executive and senior leadership level to deliver outcomes.Current NSW Drivers Licence.
