Job Title: Electric Car Technician (BYD Experience Preferred)Location: On-site, NigeriaEmployment Type: Full-time, Expatriate PositionAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled Electric Car Technician with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing electric vehicles (EVs), particularly models similar to BYD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and performing complex electrical and mechanical repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.This position offers an expatriate package with competitive salary, accommodation, and other benefits.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on electric vehicles (EVs), including electrical systems, battery packs, and drivetrains.Identify and troubleshoot issues in high-voltage systems, charging systems, and electronic control units (ECUs).Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance tests.Use diagnostic tools and software to detect and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.Ensure compliance with safety protocols for working on high-voltage systems.Maintain accurate service and repair records.Collaborate with engineering and service teams to improve maintenance processes.Provide technical support and training to local technicians when required.Qualifications & Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in electric vehicle maintenance and repair (experience with BYD or similar brands is preferred).Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Strong knowledge of EV systems, components, and diagnostic software.Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.Compensation & Benefits:Attractive expatriate package including:salary, accommodation, transportation, food allowance and health insurance: 50 % will be paid by the employer and 50 % will be paid by the employee around 450$ / year.work permit residency done by the employer.Annual leave: 30 calendar days, 1 ticket to home country after completing 1 year and Six month. than it will be every 1 year.qualified candidates can send their cv to: vision.servo@gmail.com mentioning in the subject line: Electrical car technician.
