Job Description

: Perform a variety of engineering technician duties in support of an assigned area including conducting inspections; collect technical data, evaluate processes and recommend corrective actions; assist in the preparation of construction plans, reports, maps and graphs; and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.*Job descriptions are intended to present a general list of tasks/duties performed by employees within this job classification. Job Descriptions are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.*: Education directly related to the minimum requirements below may be substituted for experience on a yar for year basis.Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, GIS/CADD technology or a related field;*and*Three (3) years of technical engineering and inspection experienceAdditional RequirementsPossession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.Possession of aCity Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.Possession of a valid Water Utility Operator Level IV certificate issued by the State of New Mexico within one (1) year of from date of hire.
