Founded on deep customer-focused ethos with a vision of empowering our clients with unparalleled Quality and Innovative solutions.About the RoleThe Estimator Officer will play a key role in supporting our MEP and Data Center construction projects by providing accurate, competitive, and well-analyzed cost estimates. You will review technical drawings and tender documents, perform detailed quantity take-offs, coordinate with engineering and procurement teams, and engage with vendors to obtain reliable pricing. This role requires strong technical understanding, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under tight timelines. Your work will directly contribute to project planning, budgeting, and successful tender submissions, ensuring the company remains competitive in a fast-paced and highly technical industry.ResponsibilitiesReview project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents for MEP and Data Center projects.Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and contingencies.Develop, update, and maintain cost databases, unit rates, and historical pricing.Perform quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and data center infrastructure systems.Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and project teams to gather necessary technical and cost information.Request and negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive quotations.Analyze risks, value engineering opportunities, and propose cost-saving solutions.Prepare tender submissions including technical clarifications, cost breakdowns, and supporting documents.Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as required.Support cost comparisons, budgeting exercises, and financial forecasting for awarded projects.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required to communicate effectively.2–4 years of experience as an Estimator or Cost Engineer in the construction industry (MEP/Data Center preferred).Strong knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical power, plumbing, ELV, and fire protection.Understanding of data center infrastructure (cooling systems, UPS, generators, raised floors, structured cabling).Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.Proficient in cost estimation software (CostX, Planswift), AutoCAD, and advanced MS Excel.Familiar with industry standards, local codes, regulations, and tender processes.Skilled in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, costing, and value engineering.Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost analysis, budgeting, and cost control.Experience in vendor/subcontractor sourcing, quotation comparison, and negotiation.High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational/documentation skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with internal teams, vendors, and clients.Ability to manage multiple tenders, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
