Working place: Company office, client offices, homeworking, satellite officesContract type: Permanent contractWorking time: Full time (40h)Location: Luxembourg HammReady to start your next challenge?Grant Thornton Luxembourg is currently seeking an Experienced Tax-Financial Services/Operational Tax Advisor to start ASAP.Working at Grant Thornton Luxembourg is an efficient opportunity to develop your potential within human-sized team in the heart of a multicultural and international growing group while respecting your work / life balance.For us, you are a strength, your experience is a real added-value and places you as a key element in the realisation of our Tax Advisory department ambitions.Main mission As part of our Tax-Financial Services team, your mission is to assist our clients with:Operational Tax advice and compliance: this includes a broad range of services regarding FATCA, CRS, QI, tax reporting for investors, withholding tax reclaimsInternational tax advice to financial services clients.Main responsibilitiesPrepare operational tax memoranda, such as FATCA/CRS classification, assistance and advice on implementation of FATCA/CRS/QI processes and procedures responses to Hotline queries or dedicated advice on complex queries, assistance with Operational Tax Health Checks and remediation projectsHandling FATCA/CRS/QI compliance for clients (such as review and remediation of self-certifications, preparation of FATCA/CRS notifications and reporting, QI compliance)QI ReviewsAssistance regarding DAC 8 / CRS 2.0International tax advice for financial services clients and coordinating / liaising with tax experts from other Grant Thornton officesBusiness development work regarding new developments (such as EU FASTER)Participating in the organisation of internal tax training sessions and client eventsAttending external events and client meetings within the Grant Thornton networkCommunicating new tax developments to clients, other departments, and the Grant Thornton networkDrafting newsletterd and articlesMain requirements5 to 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a Law firm, Consultancy firm, Fiduciary or financial institution in Luxembourg or other EU country;Master’s degree in Law, Economics or Finance, preferably with a specialization in Tax Law;Fluent in English is required; proficiency in French or German is an asset;Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint;Well-organised and rigorous;Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a small, dynamic and complex team environment;Team-oriented, proactive, and possessing strong interpersonal skills;Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.3, 2, 1… Get ready to go beyond and apply!Next stepsHR interview with our Talent team;Technical interview with Manager(s) or Partner(s) of the team.Grant Thornton worldwideGrant Thornton is one of the world’s leading providers of independent assurance, tax and advisory services.
