This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the onboarding experience and training for Estates and Facilities staff across our sites. This post will be based at St Cadoc’s Hospital, Newport, however travel to other sites is essential. As a Facilities Onboarding & Training Facilitator, you will develop, coordinate and deliver induction training to Estates & Facilities staff and service-specific training for new and existing staff across the Facilities services. You’ll support the development of a training school of excellence, using a range of creative resources including presentations, standard operating procedures and videos. You’ll also be responsible for refresher training, compliance monitoring, and supporting staff trainers. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to work independently and flexibly to meet service needs. You will be required to travel between Aneurin Bevan University Health Board sites.Main duties of the job Develop, coordinate and deliver induction training for Estates & Facilities staff Develop, coordinate and deliver training for cleaning, catering, and Portering services.Support onboarding processes including system access, ID badges, and enrolment forms.Develop and maintain training materials and resources.Mentor staff and support trainers across the division.Monitor training compliance and report via ESR.Coordinate training venues, equipment, and external providers.Attend career fairs and promote Facilities roles.Support operational services during busy periodYou’ll play a key role in developing a training school of excellence, ensuring our teams have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional services.Why Join Us?
