£90k - £100k + bonus + benefits (hybrid working)Our client is a leading software platform provider which has developed a proprietary suite of products for Tier 1 & 2 financial institutions. Well established in this space and trusted by top global asset servicers, it has exceptional customer retention. Originally part of a large, listed group they have recently gone through a carve out and are now PE backed, with a highly experienced leadership team that are executing an ambitious growth strategy.They are seeking a dynamic and technically astute Financial Controller to lead global financial operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal in driving financial discipline, reporting accuracy, and operational scalability across their international entities. You will partner closely with the CFO, executive leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure robust financial governance, support strategic growth initiatives, including M&A and prepare the business for a future exit. This is an exciting opportunity for a progressive finance professional looking to shape the finance function in what will be a high impact role, with visibility to investors and senior leadership. They have hybrid flexible working, though there would be regular requirement to work in the London office, with occasional international travel.Responsibilities:Own the global month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all entitiesEnsure timely and accurate consolidation of group financials in accordance with IFRSContribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planningDeliver high-quality management reporting, KPIs, and board packsProvide insightful variance analysis and commentary to support strategic decision-makingMaintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance frameworksLead statutory audits and liaise with external auditors across jurisdictionsMonitor cash flow, working capital, and debt financing (inc covenant) complianceSupport investor reporting, acting as a trusted advisor to the CFO, executive leadership team and Private Equity partnersManage and mentor a geographically dispersed finance teamOversee ERP systems and drive automation and process improvement initiativesCollaborate with HR, Legal, and Tax on cross-functional matters including payroll, intercompany agreements, and transfer pricingSupport M&A activity, and integration of new entitiesCandidate:You will be a Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience as a finance manager, within a PE-backed or high-growth international businessStrong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) and multi-entity consolidationGood and broad knowledge of global taxation requirementsExperience managing finance teams and working across bordersAdvanced Excel and ERP proficiencyExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsIdeally, you would have exposure to M&A processesExperience in B2B SaaS organisations (or any recurring revenue model) is desirable though not essentialEquality Statement:We know that diverse recruitment practices start with us.
