Their continued growth and expanding client portfolio have created an exciting opportunity.Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking to hire a high-calibre Financial Controller to join their growing finance team on a full-time basis.RoleReporting into the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will act as the primary finance contact for several group entities, overseeing smooth financial operations and delivering high-quality reporting. Key responsibilities include:Overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including AP, AR, cash management, and payroll support.Producing accurate month-end reporting with analysis, reconciliations, and commentary for group leadership.Ensuring compliant VAT filings, tax submissions, and strong financial controls across the group.Monitoring cash flow and working capital, supporting strategies to optimise liquidity.Preparing consolidated group financial statements and supporting subsidiary statutory accounts.Coordinating the annual audit and implementing best-practice accounting standards across the group.Partnering with agency heads to provide insights that enhance performance, profitability, and strategic decision-making.Driving improvements in finance systems, processes, and automation.Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and wider group finance activities where needed.ProfileThe ideal profile for this Financial Controller position should have the following:Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with roughly 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience.Strong Excel skills and solid technical capability across core financial processes.High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and meet tight deadlines.Experience improving, designing, or rebuilding finance processes to drive efficiencies.Essential experience working within a group or multi-entity environment.Experience within a PE-backed or leveraged environment advantageous.Salary / Package£80,000 - £85,000 + additional benefits including:Discretionary bonus schemeHybrid working structurePension schemePrivate healthcare25 days holiday + bank holidays (additional christmas & birthday days off)Internal opportunities for career developmentThe salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
