Converge also provides integrated data center and network solutions services, ensuring a premium digital experience for its clients.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Pasig for a Financial Reporting Analyst at Converge ICT Solutions Inc. The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and preparing detailed financial reports. The role will involve using analytical skills to assess financial data and provide insights to aid in decision-making processes.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Must have at least 1 year of experience on related fields.- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Basic understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).- Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules), Excel, and financial reporting tools.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily Accounting Activities:- Record and process journal entries in the general ledger using SAP.- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, classified, and reported in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS or GAAP).- Perform daily reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Bank Reconciliations:- Perform regular bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.- Ensure accurate recording of banking transactions in the general ledger.- Maintain proper documentation for all reconciliations and adjustments.Month-End and Year-End Closing:- Assist in preparing for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.- Compile and verify financial data for accuracy and completeness.- Support the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.Financial Reporting Support:- Assist in generating periodic financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.- Provide support for management reporting, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.- Contribute to variance analysis by compiling relevant data and explanations.SAP System Utilization:- Enter, monitor, and manage general ledger data in SAP, ensuring proper coding and categorization.- Collaborate with other finance team members to resolve SAP-related issues and discrepancies.- Participate in system enhancements and testing related to general ledger functions.Internal Controls and Compliance:- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and procedures.- Support the implementation of control measures to maintain data integrity and reduce errors.Audit Preparation and Support:- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits related to general ledger activities.- Address audit queries by providing relevant financial data and reconciliations.Collaboration and Team Support:- Work closely with the Financial Reporting Supervisor and other team members to meet deadlines.- Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for general ledger processes.- Participate in cross-functional projects or initiatives as required.
