As a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, we play an important role in connecting communities and industries, specialising in mining industry charters, regional airlines services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying on our fleet of F100 and A320/319 aircraft.In your new role as Flight Technical Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the suite of flight operations manuals and overseeing and maintaining software platforms for flight operations. You will also provide technical support for the introduction of new aircraft and equipment, as well as administration of Flight Planning systems, processes and reporting.To Be Considered For This Role You Will HaveExperience working with key Airbus software platforms including FODM, FlySmart OLB and eQRHWorking knowledge of Airbus Service Bulletin embodiment procedures, including use & interpretation of Master Envelope DataFamiliarity with Electronic Flight Bag hardware & software administrationExperience in technical writing, document management or desktop publishingKnowledge of management protocols for load control and flight dispatch software databasesTechnically proficient with the MS Office suite, particularly MS Word.Experience in an operational area within the airline industryDemonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environmentTertiary qualifications in Aviation desirableWhy Qantas?
