General Groundworks Labourers (Humpers & Carriers)Join Coinford - Groundwork & Infrastructure Specialists!We’re looking for hardworking and reliable General Groundworks Labourers to support our busy civils and construction teams. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, proactive, and ready to assist with a wide range of site tasks. Become part of a long-term, dependable workforce delivering high-quality work across all our sites.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general labouring duties including lifting, carrying, and moving materials safely around siteSupport trades and groundworkers by keeping work areas tidy, stocked, and well organisedAssist with basic groundworks tasks such as kerbs, edgings, paving prep, and small concrete worksHelp maintain access routes, ensuring paths and working areas are clear, clean, and safeFollow instructions from the Site Manager, Foreman, and trades to support smooth site operationsWork safely around plant, machinery, and ongoing construction activitiesLoad/unload deliveries and support general site logisticsCarry out basic daily equipment/tool checks and report any issues promptlyDesirable Skills & ExperienceExperience in labouring, groundwork, or general constructionAdditional CPCS/NPORS tickets (Dumper, Roller, Telehandler, etc.) welcomed but not essentialExperience working as part of a team or gang on busy construction sitesGeneral ExpectationsReliable, punctual, and ready to work hardGood communication and able to follow instructions clearlyWorks well with other trades and site operativesCommitment to maintaining a safe and tidy siteMust have the right to work in the UKWhat We OfferFair and competitive rates of payLong-term opportunities on future projectsAccess to further training and development as required* Please note that to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards affiliated with CSCS and carrying the CSCS hologram.
