Job Description

ResponsibilitiesDevelop strategic and operational plans for the General Administration’s activities and oversee their implementation following approval.Supervise the development of awareness and educational programs aimed at promoting governance, risk management, and compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and frameworks.Oversee the preparation, review, and updating of the organization’s governance-related policies and bylaws governing the Board of Directors and its committees, ensuring alignment with best governance practices.Provide advisory support to the CEO or the Board of Directors on governance, risk management, and compliance matters, and ensure they are kept informed of relevant sector developments.Ensure adherence to approved policies, plans, investment rules, procedures, and investment objectives.Oversee the post-review of decisions issued by the CEO, the Board of Directors, and its committees to identify observations related to governance, risk management, compliance, and applicable regulations, and submit reports to the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Committee.Supervise coordination efforts with local and international entities specializing in evaluating governance, risk management, and compliance performance across organizations.Oversee the preparation of annual and periodic governance, risk management, and compliance reports, ensuring alignment with leading practices.Supervise the handling of issues raised by the Audit Committee or the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Committee that may impact the organization’s risk management practices.Oversee the development of a risk management guideline to support administrative units in identifying and managing risks.Supervise the creation of a digital reference platform that maintains all documents, policies, regulations, decisions, and frameworks, ensuring ongoing updates.Oversee the development of a compliance framework manual to be approved by the Board of Directors.Ensure the accuracy of the authorization matrix, oversee its updates, and review delegated authorities.Oversee the development of an automated compliance matrix system that supports all compliance activities across the organization.Supervise the identification of non-compliance risks that may expose the organization to regulatory penalties, administrative actions, financial losses, or reputational harm. QualificationsMinimum of 12 years of professional experience.At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Management, Organizational Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
