General Services Coordinator

Job Description

Overview:Manage all general services functions including transportation, catering, PPE supply, office services, and training travel logistics.Ensure daily operations run smoothly and services are delivered efficiently to support the maintenance centre's activities.Plan and coordinate staff transportation schedules for daily commutes and special assignments.Ensure vehicles are maintained, inspected, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards.Supervise drivers, manage fuel usage, and ensure proper allocation of fleet resources.Coordinate the provision of meals, PPE, transportation, and other logistical needs during turnaround/shutdown periods.Ensure timely deployment of resources to support high-volume workforce activities.Manage the procurement, inventory, and distribution of PPE to all personnel in compliance with safety standards.Track PPE usage and replenish stock as needed, ensuring all employees have proper protective gear.Arrange daily and special-event meal services for staff, especially during high-demand maintenance periods.Monitor food quality, hygiene standards, and vendor performance.Coordinate with catering providers to ensure meals are delivered on time and meet required standards.Organize training-related travel arrangements, including transportation, hotel bookings, and documentation.Maintain records of staff travel, training schedules, and associated expenses.Ensure compliance with corporate travel and training policies.Manage and liaise with external service providers (transport, catering, PPE suppliers, etc.) to ensure service levels are met.Monitor contracts and support vendor selection, performance evaluation, and cost control.Ensure that all general services activities comply with company policies, HSE standards, and local regulations.Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations related to support services.Experience and Qualifications: 4 years of experience relevant to the job responsibilities and functions.High School or a Diploma Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
