This candidate will be responsible for capital formation, business, and product development across the entire P10 platform. (S)he will develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors globally for P10 and its investment strategies.The new addition to the team will be expected to help develop P10’s capital raising strategies as well as establish and maintain relationships with institutional investors and/or their managers, advisors, or consultants, with the intent of attracting and measurably increasing assets under management. This employee will be a key member of the GCS team and will be integrated within overall capital raising efforts. This individual is expected to take a lead relationship management role with clients and function as the primary liaison between investors (both current and prospective) across P10 and its underlying investment strategies.Primary Roles & ResponsibilitiesRaise meaningful capital from new investorsEstablish dialogue with investors. Drive fundraising scheduling and initial meetings, and facilitate detailed diligence follow up meetingsCreate connectivity with new and existing investors and define the various investor outreach processes necessary for successful capital raising and investor relations for all P10 strategiesUnderstand the particular investment needs of P10's investors. Effectively maintain and service existing investorsIncrease investor recognition of P10 overall and contribute to P10's credibility and brand positioning in the market, including marketing and content creationNew product launches: contribute to business development initiatives and assist with strategic planning for new Fund launches (including strategic accounts and SMAs), production of presentation materials, private placement memoranda, and handling investor due diligenceProduct knowledge: become an expert on P10’s product offerings and capabilitiesTeam player: contribute to a collegial, team-oriented work environmentJob RequirementsP10 seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must have:Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing and/or capital raisingIdeally inclusive of work experience in alternatives, with a focus on private equity, private credit, and/or venture capital strategiesProven track record of initiating, building, converting, and maintaining high-quality, institutional LP relationships at senior levelsPrior experience working with the institutional investor community including corporate and state pension funds; endowments; foundations; consultants; sovereign wealth funds; insurance companies; fund of funds; along with wirehouses, RIAs, family offices, and high net worth investorsStrategic and nimble thinker with analytical aptitude and business acumen; flexible and able to deal with ambiguity and predict the needs of investorsEffective at leading, influencing and communicating with all levels internally and externally Superior verbal and written communicator who can effectively toggle from teamwork to independent executionCommitted to intellectual honesty, integrity, and adherence to the highest ethical standards; trustworthy, adaptable, resilient, and transparentServes as an inspiring role model with the ability to coach and motivate team members to achieve their goalsThe duties and responsibilities described here are not exhaustive and additional assignments, duties, or responsibilities may be required of this position.
