They are now seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to lead their expansion in the Philippines, focusing on utility-scale project origination, acquisition, and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead origination and development of large-scale renewable projects, from early-stage identification through to financial close and commissioning.Manage partnerships, acquisitions, and local joint-venture opportunities to expand the project pipeline.Oversee permitting, offtake structuring, and coordination with government and regulatory bodies.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, landowners, and investors.Work closely with internal technical, legal, ESG, and finance teams to ensure project bankability and timely delivery.Represent the company in industry and policy discussions to support long-term growth objectives.Provide leadership and mentoring to a small local team and contribute to regional business strategy.Key Requirements10+ years of experience in project or business development within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector.Proven exposure to large-scale project development or execution.Strong understanding of local market dynamics and ability to navigate regulatory and stakeholder environments.Commercially minded, relationship-driven, and capable of operating independently in a regional setup.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.This role will be based in Manila, Philippines.
