Role OverviewCrimson Oak Partners is recruiting on behalf of SKLD for a dynamic and strategic Head of HR & Administration to lead the company’s people and administrative functions in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization.The ideal candidate will develop and implement robust HR strategies that drive business performance, foster employee engagement, and build a strong, inclusive, and productive workplace culture. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management across all HR and administrative activities.Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Policy DevelopmentDesign, update, and implement HR policies and frameworks aligned with organizational goals.Partner with senior management to ensure HR initiatives support overall business strategy.Monitor HR trends, labour laws, and best practices to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.2. Talent Management & Employee DevelopmentLead end-to-end recruitment processes to attract, select, and retain top talent.Implement learning and development programs, mentoring, and coaching to enhance capability across all levels.Drive performance management initiatives, including OKRs, appraisals, and career development plans.Conduct succession planning and competency mapping for key roles.3. Employee Engagement & CultureDevelop programs to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Lead onboarding, engagement, and recognition initiatives that boost morale and retention.Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related matters.4. HR Operations & ComplianceEnsure full compliance with Nigerian Labour laws and statutory requirements.Oversee employee records, HR audits, reporting, and documentation.Manage payroll inputs, benefits, and leave administration in coordination with Finance.5. Administration ManagementSupervise general administrative functions, including office management, travel coordination, vendor relations, and logistics.Ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work environment that supports productivity.6. External Relations & Market InsightsBuild networks with HR professionals, industry peers, and regulatory bodies.Leverage market insights to inform HR and organizational strategies.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SPHRi, SHRM) preferred.Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive HR and administrative experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.Strong understanding of Nigerian Labour laws, HR best practices, and change management principles.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to develop HR strategies and translate them into actionable plans.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.High integrity, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office tools.
