*Please note - this is a fully remote, part-time, voluntary, unpaid position. Hours can be worked on a fully flexible basis, including evenings and weekends, from 3-5 hours per week, TBC at interview*Position Title: Human Resources AnalystLocation: RemoteCategory: FTAInternational Level: S3Duration: One Year (Renewable)Supervisor/Report to: HR SpecialistJob type: Volunteer  OverviewThe Fédération Internationale de la Jeunesse in English International Youth Federation (IYF), is an international non-profit youth organization network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is politically neutral, and non-denominational, aiming to empower youth worldwide.The IYF Bureau of Management has direct responsibility for the management and oversight of the organization and provides leadership, advisory, management support to the IYF Headquarters and other executive branches.Under overall guidance and supervision of the Human Resources Specialist, the HR Analyst provides leadership and support in execution of the full range of HR services ensuring their transparency and integrity. The HR Analyst works in close collaboration with the HQ and executive branches, Regional Administrations and project teams to provide HR support and resolving complex HR-related issues and information delivery. The HR Analyst promotes a collaborative, client-oriented approach and promotes the maintenance of high staff morale.Responsibilities:  (A) Ensures administration and implementation of HR strategies and policies, adapts processes and procedures: • Full compliance of HR recording and reporting systems with the IYF rules and regulations, procedures and strategies; effective implementation of the HR management system;• Provision of advice and information on corporate strategies, changes in rules and regulations, implementation of personnel rules, strategic use of contractual modalities, application of entitlements, change management processes;• HR business processes mapping and elaboration of the content of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in HR management. (B) Ensures effective administration of human resources:  • Organization of recruitment processes including drafting job description, provision of input to job classification process, vacancy announcement, screening of candidates, participation in interview panels. Provision of advice on recruitment in the IYF projects;• Creation/update of positions in the system, performing the functions of HR Administrator, and timely follow up with the Management on HR-related issues;• Administration of the IYF rosters including e-rosters. (C) Ensures facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing:  • Participation in preparation of the Corporate Learning Plan (CLP) and team learning plans in consultation with the Senior Management, and Learning Manager.• Organization of trainings for the operations/ projects staff on HR issues;• Synthesis of lessons learnt and best practices in HR;• Sound contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice. Experience:1-4 years Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or HR work experience desired. Experience within NGO, government, international development, charities, or similar industries is also desirable.LanguageAdvanced English skills.
