As we continue to elevate our people strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and strategically-minded professional to join our Group HR team as HR Officer – Compensation & Benefits.Key Responsibilities:Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all group companies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as EPF/ETF, PAYE, and other labor regulations.Design, review, and optimize compensation structures, performance-linked reward mechanisms, and benefit schemes that attract, motivate, and retain top talent.Maintain and update employee records related to compensation, deductions, and statutory contributions.Develop group-wide Compensation & Benefits policies and governance mechanisms, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with organizational goals.Lead salary benchmarking initiatives, market intelligence gathering, and compensation analytics to support data-driven decision-making at the leadership level.Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory reports and payroll reconciliations.Coordinate with finance and HR teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll operations.Handle employee queries related to salaries, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data and employee information.Support audits and provide necessary documentation and data when required.Ensure seamless integration of payroll systems and digital platforms, while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and data security.Serve as the Group’s subject matter expert on all matters relating to compensation, payroll tax regulations, payroll audit queries, and compliance reporting.Candidate Profile:A Bachelor's Degree in HRM or a professional qualification in HRM. MBA will be an added advantage.A minimum of 6 – 8 years of progressive experience in managing payroll and compensation functions, preferably within a multi-entity corporate environment.Deep technical knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws, taxation, and statutory benefits, with hands-on experience in payroll software and ERP systems.High attention to detail, process orientation, and ethical responsibility in handling sensitive employee and financial data.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across HR operations.What We Offer:A competitive remuneration package aligned with industry standardsOpportunities for continuous learning, professional development, and career growthA collaborative culture that values integrity, innovation, and operational excellence
