The Human Resource Office Manager assumes a strategic dual capacity position, leading Human Resources initiatives while directing office administration and delivering support across all departments. This position demands an accomplished, proactive leader renowned for organisational excellence, effective leadership, and superior communication skills. The appointed candidate will provide both strategic and operational HR expertise, ensure optimal efficiency in office management, and uphold rigorous, compliant processes at all times. A central aspect of this role is to cultivate a positive organisational culture that values inclusion and diversity, actively fostering collaborative, high-performing teams where all individuals are respected and empowered to contribute.HR Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership and management across the entire employee lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and succession planning.Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Australian labour legislation and alignment with R-Biopharm Group standards.Lead talent acquisition efforts by developing and executing effective sourcing strategies, building relationships with recruitment agencies, and promoting the organisation’s employer brand to attract and top talent.Develop and execute staff retention initiatives, focusing on fostering employee engagement, recognising achievements, supporting career growth, and creating a positive, inclusive work environment to ensure long-term organisational success.Manage employee relations by delivering expert guidance and support to staff and managers, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.Oversee the performance management framework, including the facilitation of performance reviews, establishment of individual and team goals, and the creation of tailored development plans.Remain abreast of contemporary HR best practices, legislative changes, and emerging trends to promote ongoing organisational improvement and innovation.Chair the Sustainability Committee, providing leadership for initiatives that support the company’s environmental and social responsibility objectives.Design, implement, and evaluate employee engagement, organisational behaviour, and staff retention strategies to enhance workforce satisfaction and organisational success.Office Management Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sydney office, ensuring a well-functioning and professional work environment.Oversee facilities management, office supplies, and ensure the workplace is safe, clean, and compliant with WHS regulations.Coordinate office events and team-building activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.Manage relationships with service providers, including negotiating and drafting service contracts.Oversee office security, including CCTV, access control systems, and general maintenance.Handle routine administrative tasks such as monitoring incoming mail and ensuring office supplies are maintained.Required Qualification and Experience Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in human resources or a closely related discipline.5+ years in a similar position.Demonstrated experience in both HR and office management roles.Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation, HR practices, HR systems, and the principles of office management.Key AttributesProven leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and guide teams toward shared goals.Commitment to organisational excellence, with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving high standards across all administrative and HR functions.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with staff across all organisational levels.Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently and promptly.Strong emotional intelligence and empathy when interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
