Are you an experienced Payroll Officer with a strong background in the construction industry? Our client, a well-established and reputable construction business in Western Sydney, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive payroll professional to join their team.We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of construction payroll, and can confidently manage end-to-end payroll functions.ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end payroll for weekly and fortnightly cyclesProcess employee timesheets, allowances, RDOs, overtime, and site-specific conditionsEnsure compliance with relevant awards, EBAs, and construction industry legislationMaintain accurate employee records and handle payroll queriesLiaise with HR, site managers, and finance teamsPrepare payroll reports and assist with month-end processesSupport process improvements and payroll system optimisationAbout You:Proven experience as a Payroll Officer within the construction industry (essential)Strong understanding of construction awards, EBAs, and site-based payroll complexitiesHigh attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracyProficient with payroll systems (e.g., MYOB, Chris21, ADP, or similar)Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport across the businessA proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilityWhat’s on Offer:Competitive salary $80,000 - $110,000 + Super, depending on experienceOpportunity to join a stable and respected construction organisationSupportive team environment with long-term career prospects
