IT Director ( Arabic Speaker )

Position SummaryJob Description - IT DirectorWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Director to lead and oversee the full spectrum of IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives across multiple entities within the group. The IT Director will be responsible for managing internal systems, supervising vendors, ensuring cybersecurity and compliance, and aligning IT strategy with organizational goals. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to drive efficiency, security, and innovation across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyDefine and execute the IT strategy in alignment with business objectives, reporting directly to the COOProvide leadership and mentorship to a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and innovationAdvise senior management on emerging technologies and digital transformation opportunitiesEnsure standardized IT governance and policies are applied consistently across all entitiesInfrastructure & Systems OversightOversee the management and optimization of infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, firewalls, UPS, and NAS systems)Ensure effective operation of Google Workspace and Office 365 environments, Active Directory, including domain, user, and email managementSupervise management of Wi-Fi systems, IP telephony, printer management, CCTV, access control, and biometric attendance systemsVendor & Budget ManagementLead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring for IT service providers and technology solutionsOversee IT budgeting, cost optimization, and procurement in close collaboration with Finance and Procurement teamsManage subscriptions, licenses, and IT asset lifecycle managementCybersecurity & ComplianceEstablish and enforce IT policies, security standards, and compliance frameworksOversee deployment and management of security tools (e.g., device protection, firewalls, backup solutions)Ensure data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity measures are in placeApplication & Cloud ManagementOversee cloud environments and applications including Azure Portal, Hosting providers, DNS, backupsManage web hosting, task management software, and source controlLead the implementation and management of Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring successful deployment, integration, and adoption across entitiesCoordinate with vendors for software development, integrations, and enterprise applicationsEnd-User & Operations SupportEnsure IT systems support smooth day-to-day operations, including smart TVs, conferencing systems, and meeting room booking systemsDrive continuous improvement of IT service delivery and user satisfactionRequirementsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred)Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in IT leadership rolesProven track record in IT infrastructure of large organizations, vendor management, and cybersecurityStrong knowledge of enterprise IT operations, networking, cloud services, and IT governance frameworksExperience managing budgets, procurement, and cross-functional collaboration with finance and business teamsExcellent leadership, project management, decision-making, and communication skills UAE National is required for this roleLocation & Work ModeOn-site role, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates Group-wide responsibility, covering IT operations and strategy across multiple entities
