Job Description

Purpose The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency. Coordination and execution of customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or proceduresKey Responsibility Areas• Responsible for overseeing the timely delivery of goods• Responsible and accountable for providing information of the availability of trucks to the dispatcher • Responsible and accountable for tracking deliveries of goods and entering in the oracle transportation system and updating customers or superiors as required• Customer order plausibility analysis• Planning / Booking / Transportation orders• Coordination/follow up of the shipment• Customs processing (export/import)• Documentation/administration/invoicing / filing• Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI)• Operational troubleshooting• Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.• End to end processing• Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation• Responsible for dealing with customers, attending to complaints if any, resolving them in conjunction with the superiors• Responsible for monitoring and reporting driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or licensing issues.• Responsible for handling emergency situations as per emergency operations SLA• Responsible for preparing and submitting analysis for operations activities• Responsible and accountable to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost• Responsible for timeously preparing daily reports, monthly reports• Responsible for doing any other related logistics functions as requested or required.• Maintain a smartly presented, polite, diligent, positive and professional attitude always; demonstrate knowledge and build customer confidence.Key Performance Indicators• Shortest delivery time• Amount of damage cause during transportation• Delay in reaching destination• Number of delays in preparing reports• Number of inaccuracies in reports• Politeness and courtesy in dealing with customersCompetenciesThorough knowledge of process and procedures involved in operations activitiesKnowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.Ability to inspect equipment, vehicles, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracyAbility to instruct and supervise assistantsStrong communications skills and interpersonal skills Education GraduateExperience 3-5 years of relevant experience
