Lead Strategic Sourcing

Job Title VP/ SVP- IT Infrastructure and Information Security related SourcingJob Description The position is part of the Strategic Procurement Unit will support Pan India sourcing of IT hardware, software and associated services for IT infrastructure & information security related products and services including licenses, applications, cloud services and related services Role requires strong collaboration with the key stakeholders in IT and Business unit to understand their requirement, recommend right sourcing strategy, identify suitable vendors, float enquiry / RFP/ Tender, conduct negotiations and finalise rate contract.Identify opportunities and work on innovative solution to optimize the TCO for each spend categoriesResearch the vendor market to gain good knowledge and understanding and explore alternate solutionsInteract with the internal customers and work closely with them to identify areas of improvementDevelops relationships with key / critical external partners in accordance with the organizational policies to ensure desired benefits, innovation and risk management is metSupport the discussion on contractual terms and finalization of various agreements related to the product and services sourced in consultation with the Business, Legal and other stakeholder teamsKey Skills Person should have relevant experience of 14+ years in the IT sourcing domain, with atleast 3 years in a similar rolePerson should have strong understanding about the commercial terms and vendor eco-system for relevant categoryEngineer/ Postgraduate with professional course in Supply Management will be preferred.Should have strong experience in managing stakeholdersPrior experience in Strategic Sourcing: Designing and conducting RFP, RFI, RFQ, Reverse Auction preferably in tools like AribaPrior experience is driving cost management initiatives and identifying opportunities for cost optimisationPrior experience in Supplier development, Spend Analytics, Market Analysis, Value Engineering and Contract managementPrevious experience of sourcing for similar categories in/for Banking industry is highly desirableProcess oriented with excellent communication, influencing, collaboration and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage ambiguity and ambiguous situations ReportingPosition will report to Head IT Sourcing
