Role Description The Maintenance Manager will oversee the effective operation and upkeep of the hotel’s facilities, ensuring a safe and well-functioning environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance teams, implementing preventive maintenance plans, conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. The role also involves managing maintenance requests, supporting event setups, and coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs or improvements. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Melaka. Qualifications Strong supervisory and leadership skills for effectively managing maintenance teams.Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure smooth operation and minimize equipment downtime.Experience in Maintenance Management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Technical proficiency in Maintenance and Repair tasks for various building systems and equipment.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety compliance.Ability to work collaboratively and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.Diploma or degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.Previous experience in hotel maintenance management is an added advantage.
