Help support some of the most vulnerable people in your community in this role.If you were working for us as a Maintenance Worker, here are some of the things you would have done last week:Performed general maintenance and upkeep of the building, including plumbing, heating and cooling systems, electrical repairs, plastering, painting, and other assigned tasksPrioritized tasks according to the needs of the HomeMoved resident and non-resident furniture safely within the HomeMaintained logs and records for work performed, including materials and equipment usedEnsured tools and equipment were in proper working orderAssisted with preventative maintenance, utilizing computerized systems to track work and schedulesMonitored the Home for maintenance and safety issues, taking action or reporting concerns as appropriateAdhered to all policies, procedures, and legislative standards, ensuring a safe and compliant environmentSupported special projects such as carpet cleaning, painting, or backup maintenance tasksResponded to emergency call-ins to ensure continuity of a safe environmentAnd supported your team as needed.
