Manager - Supply Chain - Sourcing Governance

Dialog Axiata PLC is looking for a driven and strategic professional to join our Group Supply Chain Management Division as Manager - Sourcing governance. In this pivotal role, you will lead the strategic sourcing and implementation of procurement governance frameworks, contract management, vendor management across the Dialog Group.You will be instrumental in securing best-in-class sourcing outcome whilst ensuring robust compliance, cost efficiency, operational excellence, and long-term vendor sustainability—while driving continuous improvement and transformation within supply chain.The JobDevelop and execute procurement strategies for both CAPEX and OPEX across various business units.Foster relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to business requirements.Monitor macroeconomic indicators to manage inflationary cost escalations effectivelyBuild strategic alliances with suppliers and manage relationships to maintain quality and delivery timelines.Evaluate vendor performance and take corrective actions based on user feedback.Collaborate with Axiata Group Procurement and Opco stakeholders to leverage group buying power and achieve savings.Conceptualize and manage contracts, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and timely renewals.Maintain controls to ensure compliance with procurement board approvals.Oversee the procurement process and supplier management, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and service delivery.Lead complex procurement deals, collaborating with internal and external clients to develop requirements and deliver best value solutions.Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, ERP systems, ISO certification, and regulatory requirements.Implement inventory and budget controls, and report procurement cost savings to relevant stakeholders.The PersonBachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Law (LLB), or Science.Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, Engineering, project roll-out, or managed services.Proven expertise in PMI best practices, SAP/Coupa systems, and sourcing compliance.Strong commercial acumen with sound legal and contractual knowledge (risk/claim/change/scope).Excellent written and verbal communication skills with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
