Job Description

As a Manager – Key Accounts Engineering Sales, your main goal will be to drive business development by targeting opportunities within government bodies, telecom service providers, and other relevant organizations (such as ISPs). Your primary responsibilities will include developing strategic sales plans, generating leads, conducting market research, building strong relationships with decision-makers, managing client interactions, promoting products and services, managing bidding and tender processes, preparing and submitting comprehensive proposals, achieving sales targets, preparing reports, and collaborating with marketing for promotional activities. Technical expertise is crucial to support clients and stay updated on industry advancements.Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and target potential business opportunities with government bodies, telecom service providers, and relevant companies.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals. Generate leads, conduct market research, and stay updated on industry trends.  Relationship Management Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, promptly addressing their needs and concerns. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to promote products and services. Bidding And Tender Management Identify relevant bidding and tender opportunities.  Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals and tender documents.  Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure timely submissions.  Sales And Reporting Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.  Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.  Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.  Technical ExpertiseProvide technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring they understand the products and services offered.  Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and industry developments. Qualifications And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.   Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in engineering sales or a related field. Proven successful sales and business development track record, particularly with government bodies and telecom service providers.   Other Requirements: Willingness to travel as required.  Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
